Brooklyn-based Jack and the Divide is set to release its first EP, Felix, in April 2012.

Jack and the Divide brings together Lisa Green (vocals, guitar), Michael Jackiewicz (vocals, guitar), and Sean Tasaki (drums). Drawing from diverse musical backgrounds, the band, which formed in 2010, features songs that are melodically rich and emotive with alt-country, and folk leanings.

Receiving comparisons to acts such as Whiskeytown, Great Lake Swimmers, and Donna the Buffalo, Jack and the Divide incorporates a rich history of Americana in a post Uncle Tupelo music scene. Mike’s soulful grit and Lisa’s crystalline delicacy deliver a unique vocal blend, leading the songs with poignant melodies and spiraling harmonies.
